I am extremely passionate about achieving a toxic-free, sustainable living. Therefore, I have been learning and questioning every aspect of the way I live.
As an undergraduate, I studied Biology at Simon Bolivar University in Venezuela. Later, I took courses in Ecotoxicology at Uppsala University in Sweden.I was shocked to learn that many widely used compounds are highly toxic, harming both ecosystems and human development. I assumed that industries would not employ any compounds for which there was even the remote possibility of being harmful; sadly, I was wrong.
Luckily there are simple solutions! Through my experiences and experiments, I want to engage society in this crucial issue: toxic-free, sustainable living. A blog is an amazing tool for this purpose.
In 2015, my best friend introduced me to Miss Scuba International. Their motto ‘Saving oceans through beauty‘ fascinated me. A beauty pageant is a cool way to reach a large audience and promote a toxic-free, sustainable living. Our individual actions can make a difference!
